Love
is normal feeling as long as you are human. Even animals have that feeling
given by the God. We as human were gifted by this special feeling. Love for
family. Love for friends. Love for girl/boyfriend. Love for environment. Love
for money.
Allah
says in the Quran, surah Al Imraan verses 14, which means:
"Fair
in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet: Women and sons; Heaped-up
hoards of gold and silver; horses branded (for blood and excellence); and
(wealth of) cattle and well-tilled land. Such are the possessions of this
world's life; but in nearness to Allah is the best of the goals (To return
to)."
As
we all know, love is a thing that we as human have naturally. A human is not
normal if he does not have the sense of love or affection. Without it, the
world would be in messy situation right now. Love makes you care for others,
and makes others care for you. Usually when we are talking about love,
automatically we will focus on love for a couple of boyfriend/girlfriend or
love for husband/wife.
Talking
about marriage, I'm still not married. I'm still looking for the candidate to
meet with me someday. Honestly speaking (writing actually), I don't ever have
any girlfriend in my life. It's not like there's no girl for me out there or no
one ever admire me. I just don't like to give full commitment as a
boyfriend yet. Maybe that's why the reason I'm still not married despite almost
all my friends at the same age already have at least a child.
However
kids nowadays already got a boyfriend/girlfriend at a young age. What make it
worse; they use the word 'love is natural' as escapism to make their
relationship legal from their point of view. I'm not saying it's wrong to love
someone but at least be sure that you are not going beyond our principle of
Islam. Since all of them admitted that they are Muslims, please, protect your
dignity as a Muslim. They posted a picture of kissing in the Facebook (not
married couple) than gave a caption 'love forever till Jannah'. What the fish
is that?
"Nor
come nigh to adultery: for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the
road (to other evils)." (Al-Israa: 32)
